Welcome, Adam! I'm looking forward about hearing some of your cat fishing experiences up there in Ohio, for sure. Down here in the south, out of Tallahassee, Florida, I just love fishing for those whiskered slickskins - especially the flathead variety. fishin

I usually fish on the ohio river in meigs county from the belleville dam to the pomeroy-mason bridge and really all along the big bend area, if you know where thats at.

I haven't a clue where you are fishing, my young catfishing friend, but I can find Ohio on a map! Embarassed

You just keep fishing and telling us about the adventures and we will do the same for you. I'm rather new at this flathead catfishing thing, but there are others on this site that can help you out - just ask them like I did! Idea

I've been catching all other kinds of catfish for 50+ years, so, if I can help you, I will, because I would never tell you anything I did not know to hurt your fishing adventures! lol!
