there's a certain fellow in memphis that called me today ........ he was informing me that all the "visitors" coming to tunica to fish "his territory" weren't gonna out fish him this time around ............ seems he should be use to it by now , since he has been out fished for the last two yrs up there............i just wanted to let all the "visitors" know that they better be ready, cause he is out for blood this yr ..............he also said the green tea was ready !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we been worried about the ramp situation at tunica for the fishing trip since the river is gonna be so low .............. PICTURE THIS .....cp goes down there today and backs down to the water , puts on a life vest , ties a rope off to his truck , takes a curtain rod with him , and wades out poking and searching till he is up to his armpits .......... cheers

Thanks CP ! for the update on the ramp situation!
Im almost ready to go, I been workin on my boat this evenin,, i removed my trollin motor a few weeks ago, so that means i need one less battery , so i took out my trollin motor battery and moved my crankin battery so i could make room for a spare gas tank, the spare gas tank fits perfect where my batteries were,, so that means i wont have to be pourin gas from a can anymore.

i just received a phone call from chief deputy wilbur yeager in tunica county..... seems the levee board guy up there knows we are headed that way in a day or so.....
deputy yeager wants us to be on the look out for folks coming into the camp area drinking alcoholic beverages .... he doesn't want us to confront the folks , just get a description of the vehicle and maybe a tag number if we can ...........
i told him we would be glad to help out ........ drunken

We came, we fished, and some of us (not me!) caught fish! But I still had a good time! Got to see some folks I haven't seen since last time, and meet a few new folks! Pretty weather and good times! A fella can't ask for a better birthday party! Very Happy
