Runaway Barges !!

Subject: Runaway Barges !! Sun Jan 06, 2008 8:21 pm

Me and Cactus Bob got to witness 35 barges that broke loose from a tow boat and they were goin down the river out of control, we watched them for about 2 hours and the barges were spread out over atleast ten miles when we left the river and the tow boats werent even close to catchin all of them!

well i see u made it home ........... that was something to see ....... i wonder what would happen if it was nite time and a fellow was anchored off close to the bank fishing for flatheads and one of them damn barges came easing up on u from upriver ............ scary thought!!!!!.... did u make contact with the fellow lookin for camper space ???????????

Yeah I made it home OK, but didnt get to see the guy that I was lookin for scratch

,, the barges were a sight to see!! and that is a scary thought of the barges creepin up on you at nite Shocked

Oh by the way, I'd like my lucky pole back, please Laughing

as for u gettin the pole back .... i figure u are one of them anglers now seein as how u got all them fancy reels and sho nuff fancy rods ..... u better just let me keep that ugly stick so folks won't lower their opinion of u .... go on and get u one of them flap in the back angler shirts like mac has , and that will match ur attire to ur fishing equipment .... see if that don't help u catch more fish Exclamation

good pics flatiator , how do they gather them guess they will drift to bank some wheres huh . did you take them with your cell phone camera , i tried taking some with mine but when i send them to the puter they are 120x160 and when i enlarge them they go digital squares lol not worth a damn yours look great

Mac, im gonna get me some patches that go on them shirts so it looks like i have sponsors too lol!

Everett, those pics were taken with Coach's phone,,my pics did the same thing you are talkin about and i dont understand it because all of the other pics i have posted on here are taken with my phone scratch

as for them corralin the barges, the boat that lost them were pushin the barges up on the bank till help got there and had two other small boats helpin him and then an empty tow came along and they tied the barges up to the empty tow boat ,,and i guess they rebuilt the tow on the empty boat and then hooked back up to the original boat
