| Very nice flathead there, Catchaser! How about telling a rather novice "kittygetter" about your techniques using live bream, etc., please? Inquiring minds want to know how and where you were so successful - especially up there in Ohio! As I see it, all the methods used anywhere else to catch flatheads should work just as well down here in the south - especially around the river & lakes where we fish in south Georgia and north Florida! |

| Doggone Robbie, you the man!!!!!!!!LOL. we fished all night last night, had some fine gills but no luck. Lake I am fishing does have flatheads as there are a few "Nice" ones on the board already at the marina. This lake just reopened after 6 or 7 years being closed. its kinda murky right now because of the rains but is clearing. Big Moon last night I figured them to bite. I did get excited once, but knew it wasnt a flat head when it hit, turned out to be about a 3' gar. |

| After many rainstorms and flucuating water levels I finally connected with another flathead.

This post spawn male had lost lots of weight during spawn but still tugged the scale to 43 pounds. I released him after photos and hope he can feed hard and regain weight to survive winter. |

| I finally caught a flathead the other night, only went 7 pounds but I was delighted to catch it. Maybe I can catch one of those bigguns like robbie does one of these nights. I sure hope too. |
