| Mac, I cant tell you the name brand of paint rite now but I will find out and let you know, I got the paint from a friend that is an automotive painter and he says as long as it is an automotive paint it will work on a rod,,whether it has a flex agent or not,, the way he explains it is "how many dents have you seen in cars over the years with cracked paint? other than a crease?" he assures me that the rod will break before the paint cracks! And I went ahead and gave it a bend test this evening and the paint didnt even think about crackin,, I think its way better of a finish than a factory built rod, but the paint job on my blank would cost way more than the complete factory built rod, I got the paint for free and I still have about 30 bucks in the supplies for preppin the blank and thats not including about 2 hours worth of labor for strippin the blank and then about 3 hours(drying time in between coats included) for applyin all the coats of primer, paint and clear coat,,, it sure is alot of fun tho,LOL! _________________
