| Here are a few pics of my umbrellas I made them from 1'' x 12'' galvanized pipe and welded a set screw in the pipe and used a floor flange to secure the holders to the deck of my boat

| They look good and very functional. But when it starts raining and lightning, they look like conductor's. Last year while driving down to Galveston for some saltwater fishing I was listening to the 610 fishing show, when a caller called in and advised that he fishing rig got struct by lightning the morning before and he was able to unhook from the rig before he lost his truck. He had his rods were standing in the vertical position and the lightning had struct them. Praise GOD for insurance. Good luck and good fishing |
